612 Wide Receivers
We are thrilled to announce the launch of 612WR’s to Minneapolis, Minnesota! This will provide Minnesota receivers with the opportunity to receive hands-on development training side by side with quarterback small group sessions.612WR’s is led by former wide receiver Joshua Castro, who will bring his knowledge and passion to the athletes in the area.We can’t wait to get started and bring this exciting opportunity to Minnesota!
Meet Coach Joshua
Joshua grew up in Woodbury, Minnesota, playing quarterback and wide receiver through youth football. He attended Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before playing wide receiver at D3 Top-25 Muhlenberg College. After graduating, he transferred to WPI in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he led the team in touchdowns. Joshua has learned from a wide range of coaching, including local private WR coaches and multiple former semi-pro and professional players.This spring, Joshua will begin offering small group sessions in the metro hand in hand with quarterback group sessions. We’re excited for the impact he will continue to have!“I’m fired up to now take my experiences and learning to help develop the next generation of receivers. The 612WRs curriculum is designed with a College-level structure, modified to be easily understood by all ages. Every rep and drill is intentionally chosen to prioritize development of game-realistic skills and techniques.”
